9:00 a.m.— 9:30 a.m. @ Tapestry Programs, Northwest and Northeast School

Lunch Times and Places:

11:30—12:00 @ Rutland Intermediate School

12:00-12:30 @ Northeast and Northwest School (inc. Tapestry)

The 6th Grade students at RIS participate in a 6 day program at the Rutland Armory called Starbase Vermont. The students go to the armory (and even the Rutland Airport) once a week for 6 weeks. Burlington Taiko Drummers

As part of the 2007-2008 RIS Celebration of Asia, the Burlington Taiko Drummers were invited to perform at RIS. Taiko, in Japanese, means “big drum.” This interactive performance was a lesson in ancient Japanese art, language, music, and culture. A wonderful time was had by all! Read more »
